I found the listing on Craigslist and sent a text to 9108881147 then she told me to email her from a different number of 8486667824 in the email she said
Hello
My name is Clara, and I’m emailing you about the chevy silverado that I have for sale. It is a 1998 Z71 4×4 model loaded with everything. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine is 5,7L V8, Gasoline Fuel, the automatic transmission shifts perfectly and the 4×4 works like new, the truck has only 110k miles. Has a clean and clear US title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This truck was used by my husband who died 4 months ago. The price was reduced at $1,500 because I’m in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the truck before the 15th of next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store my truck. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. Also, the truck is too big for my daughter so there’s no use on keeping it. If you have any other questions, email me back and I can send more pics.
Regards
You do know that impersonating military is a criminal offense? I’m not sure who would fall for your stupid scam but I feel sad for them. I hope you get caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent. Stop scamming people and get a job and earn your money like an honest person you sorry piece of shit. I hope karma gets the best of you.

Who and how would I pay and how is it guaranteed that I would get my money back if it’s not as described in 7 days. Why isn’t the truck listed on ebay if the payment is supposed to be done through eBay? What’s the total price for the truck? Can I get the vin number so I can do a car fax on it and call the motor vehicle department and make sure the title isn’t salvaged or has a lien on it?

I am sorry but like I’ve told you before the vehicle is already at our Military Logistic Department form Fort Belvoir,VA, U.S. Army base crated and ready to go. The Logistic Department will deliver the vehicle to your home so the shipping is free for you. Since the vehicle is in a military base, with no access you can not go there and take it, only the Logistic Department can deliver it, because the vehicle is in their custody.Shipping may take anywhere between 2 to 3 business days depending on the destination. All the documents you need for ownership; title, manuals and the bill of sale, etc.. will be provided along with the vehicle ( title and the bill of sale will be notarized by a notary public ).You will have 7 business days for inspection. If the vehicle is not like described you will have to ship it back at the end of the 7 business days,on my expense and have your money back from eBay.

I’m sorry but I searched ebay and didn’t find it listed and also saw that the post on Craigslist was flagged and removed for being a scam. I’m not interested unless I can see the truck in person with out it being shipped it says it’s located near me but you say it’s not. Sorry but sounds a little fishy to me.

Hi again, right now I’m in a military base. We are training, getting ready for leaving the country. The delivery process will be managed by me. I think I can have it there at your home address within 2-3 working days. It will come with a clear title and reg. I am a member of the eBay buyer protection program and using this service you will get a 7 days testing period after delivery. During that 7 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for eBay (your name, your address and phone number), so we can get the ball rolling.
P.S.: Here you have pictures with the truck
Thank you !

She included a link for pictures of the truck http://imgur.com/a/DgEQl There were a few more emails following and the stories just didn’t make sense she had said that ebay would ship the truck then she said that military logistics would and that there is no access to the truck until it’s shipped and blah blah. It’s definitely a scam all around.
