I was sent an email per my requests for a ford truck being sold on offer up…. the person responded with a sad lost my husband story… I totally bought it till I noticed the story and listing didn’t go hand in hand. I don’t want to give the scammer info on how to tweak his or her scamming however when you state your a sergeant with the U.S Air Force…I would assume grammar is of importance to your reputation being you supposedly are a training sergeant. I was given or sent I should say, a statement with amazons logos on it… read closely into any request for money regardless of if the logo is familiar. Amazon is not going to allow their website to have grammatical error. Within the last 12 hours I’ve seen many similar listings all targeting females in my opinion. All sellers were listed female. Not to mention I had my son respond to one and him being male never received a message tugging at his heart strings about anyone dying. All I can say is to who ever posted the word for word email they received on eBay a few months back I truly thank you. Because without that email I would have never seen this coming.
