I’ve had a scammer on the phone claiming to be some “Technical support”.  Very similar to a call from about a year ago, and may be the same people.  He gets me to run event viewer to convince me there’s something wrong, then is presumably going to get me to install ammyy again to take over my PC.  I despise these people, and have been wasting as much of his time as possible and got him to call me on a mobile.  Does anyone have any advice on how best to proceed?  Would like to be able to do more than just waste his time and run up his phone bill.  Could I set up a virtual machine and use it as a honeypot or something?
